01What are the two Parent ER Ready options?+
The Self-Guided PDF Bundle is a downloadable eight-file system you complete yourself. Guided Setup is a separate online service that asks one question at a time and lets you type or dictate each answer, review it and organize it into a completed packet. Its public preview is open with test information, while payment and PDF download remain disabled.
02Will Guided Setup complete the forms for me?+
That is the paid service being prepared. You will answer guided questions, review every entry and confirm critical details before Parent ER Ready generates the completed packet. During the current public preview you can explore the interview and review flow with test information, but generation and download remain disabled. The service uses only the information you provide and does not verify medical accuracy.
03Can I buy Guided Setup today?+
The Self-Guided PDF Bundle is available now for a $39 launch price (regularly $49). Guided Setup has a $79 one-time launch price for one guided setup. Its public preview cannot charge you because checkout, generation and delivery remain disabled.
04Is Guided Setup a doctor or medical service?+
No. It is an automated information-organizing guide, not a doctor, nurse, emergency dispatcher or medical service. It records only the information you provide, does not diagnose or recommend treatment, and must never delay a call to 911 or emergency care.
05Where should I open the Smart PDF?+
For the most reliable automatic summaries and dashboard behavior, save the file locally and open it in the current desktop version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Use the Universal PDF if your viewer blocks JavaScript.
06Does Parent ER Ready store medical information online?+
For the Self-Guided PDF Bundle, Parent ER Ready does not receive information entered into the downloaded PDFs; the file remains on the device or storage service you choose. Guided Setup is a separate online service with its own Privacy Notice and consent screen. In the public preview, use test information only. Payment and PDF delivery are not active yet.
07Should I complete both the Smart and Universal PDFs?+
No. Choose one as your current master file and keep that version updated. Use Smart for supported desktop Adobe Acrobat Reader automation, or Universal for a phone, tablet, browser or simpler manual workflow. Maintaining both can create conflicting copies.
08Which pages should go to the ER?+
Use pages 2, 3 and 9 from the Smart or Universal file you chose as your master: the Emergency Snapshot, Medicines & Allergies, and ER Now Handoff. The bundle also includes a separate three-page Large Print ER Pack.
09Can I update it when medications change?+
Yes. Keep a private master copy, update it after important changes, verify the information and print a new ER Pack and emergency cards.
10Does this replace medical records or emergency assessment?+
No. Neither option is medical care. The PDFs and Guided Setup organize information supplied by you; they do not verify medical accuracy, diagnose, recommend treatment, replace medical records or signed documents, or change the need to call emergency services.
